How to Quickly Identify Which Unmaxed Artifact Is Most Worth Enhancing?

When you have many unleveled artifact candidates in your inventory, you can estimate which piece is truly worth enhancing through a simple three-step comparison:

1. Calculate and Set Current Baseline
   In “Calculation Settings”, set “Artifact Enhancement” to “Keep current level” and click “Start calculation”. Once finished, open the “Comparison” dropdown below the results and select this newly generated entry as your baseline.

2. Simulate Max-Level Potential
   Switch “Artifact Enhancement” to “Expected enhancement” and click “Start calculation” again. The optimizer will simulate all unmaxed artifacts at Lv. 20 using average roll values to re-evaluate the best build. (Selecting “Expected enhancement” rather than “Random enhancement” uses statistical averages, avoiding random variance.)

3. Compare Results and Identify Key Pieces

   • No DMG Increase: Your existing geared pieces are already strong enough; upgrading current unleveled inventory pieces would not replace any slot. Save your enhancement materials.
   • DMG Increased: The comparison panel shows the exact percentage increase. The unmaxed artifacts swapped into this build are your highest-potential candidates—enhance them in-game for a guaranteed upgrade.

Sync After Enhancing (No Re-Scan Needed)

After upgrading the artifact in Genshin Impact, there is no need to re-scan your entire inventory:

Simply click that artifact card directly inside the calculation results to open its edit dialog. Adjust its level and actual rolled sub-stat values to sync with the in-game item.
